Trade Rumor: JJ Redick Deal Down to Two Teams


JJ Redick is one of the NBA's purest shooters and the New Orleans Pelicans guard has been made available by his team on the trade market. According to several reports, two teams have become favorites to land Redick, the Dallas Mavericks and the Denver Nuggets.


The Pelicans currently sit 15-19 on the season and are looking to move out some veterans who are pending free-agents. The 36-year-old Duke product is making just over $13 million this season and is averaging 8.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 37% from three.

It's not going to take much to acquire Redick as his stock has declined over the years but we're certainly curious to see which of these two teams can win the sweepstakes and what kind of impact Redick can have for their team down the stretch and into the playoffs.
