Paul George Blames Kawhi Leonard's Injury for Losing to Suns

Paul George wants another shot at the Phoenix Suns and thinks if his running mate, Kawhi Leonard would have stayed healthy the Los Angeles Clippers would be going on to the NBA Finals.

Leonard was hurt during Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals versus the Utah Jazz after he sprained his ACL. George didn't hold back his true feelings after being eliminated earlier this week:

We'd be going on. This series would be a lot different. Talk about one of the best players in the league being out, yet we were inches away from getting to the next round. So, definitely it's a 'what-if' on this. Fact of the matter is, we didn't do enough to win, and that's the reason we're going home. Nothing that I didn't know already. The narrative of me not being a postseason player, or all that, I never understood

George was a beast without Leonard but it wasn't enough to hold off Chris Paul and the Suns. PG averaged 28.7 ppg, 10.5 rpg, and 5.5 assists. It's time to put the 'doesn't show up in the playoffs' narrative away.
