NBA Rumors: DeMarcus Cousins In Negotiations For Big Move

He's a former 4-time All-Star who recently pleaded with NBA teams to give him another chance, but still, DeMarcus Cousins is without a job. Perhaps until now.  According to a Taiwan news source, Boogie is in negotiations to take his talents to the Taiwan T1 League, where he'd face off with Dwight Howard.

TaiwanNews.com is reporting that Cousins is "in negotiations with a team based in south Taiwan". The report says that the 32-year-old will be joining the T1 league "very soon."

"Media outlets reported that DeMarcus Cousins is preparing to move to Taiwan, based on a tip from a sports reporter at UDN, Lee Yi-Shen (李亦伸), and several anonymous T1 players," reads the story, though there is still no official confirmation.

With the huge success of Howard on his terrific Taiwanese Adventure, other teams there are setting their sights on more spurned former NBA All-Stars who simply can't find a job. Howard already sent a shout-out to Carmelo Anthony to come join him.

Boogie spent last season in short stints with the Milwaukee Bucks and then the Denver Nuggets, but despite his recent pleas that he's "not a monster" and wants another chance, no NBA team has come calling on the 11-year veteran.
