Jordan Clarkson Slapped With Big Fine For Headband "Incident"

Not sure how much damage it could cause, but throwing your headband into the stands in anger is a no-no for the policy-makers at the NBA. And Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson is paying the price.

Clarkson was hit with a $15,000 fine for the transgression. The incident occurred in the final seconds of the Jazz' 116-111 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Again, not a very dangerous move as you can see from the incident:

Usually, fans would be ecstatic to grab a game-worn garment from an NBA player, but in this case, it actually was thrown into empty seats. A better view from the replay here:

 It's an odd piece of discipline, but the NBA apparently felt the need.
